Each month, we offer Tradebank University. You can earn up to $500 trade dollars for attending this one-afternoon session. Not only will you earn trade dollars to put in your account, you will also learn how the bartering system works, how to access your account and the best ways you can begin to promote your product.
Trade dollars?
Yes, trade dollars. When you use the Tradebank bartering system, you spend and receive trade dollars. Each trade dollar is equivalent to one American dollar and you spend them in exactly the same manner. That way, there's no question about how you should value your inventory. Simply charge the same thing in both dollars and trade dollars.
How will I get paid?
The bartering system employed by Tradebank is backed by a sophisticated, computerized accounting and trade-management software program, and run by professional trade brokers. Before each barter transaction is finalized, the trade brokers inspect the buyer's account to make sure the requisite number of trade dollars is present. This system of checks and balances ensures that no one is accidentally caught short in any barter transaction.

Because Tradebank is part of an international organization, you can find barter-friendly businesses in cities across the United States, as well as Canada, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. Each city offers a comprehensive listing of participating businesses sorted alphabetically or geographically, offering you a quick and easy way to find the goods or services you need offered within the barter system.
